Dan Moyer was born and raised in Rifle Colorado were he started working on surrounding ranches at a very young age. Since leaving home at 17 he has worked on ranches in Nevada, Montana, Idaho, Oragon, Utah and Colorado.

Dan now lives in Nucla Colorado, where he works on his rawhide braiding and teaches ranch roping, but every chance he gets though he day rides for neighboring ranches. When spring comes its hard to catch Dan at home, he stays very busy helping everyone with their brandings.
